Anthony Frisina, Dancer Anthony Frisina is a New York native whose career has spanned the world performing,
directing, choreographing, teaching and writing.
As a performer, he has had the honor of dancing alongside greats such as Chita Rivera, Kerry Caserly
and 2-time national swing dance champion Mark Eckstein. Some favorite credits of his include SWING!!!
The Musical,Tap Dogs, 42nd Street (directed/choreographed by Lee Roy Reames), Anything Goes
(directed by Lee Roy Reames & choreographed by Michael Lichtefeld) & Funny Girl at the Paper Mill
Playhouse and West Side Story (directed/choreographed by Karen Azenberg) at the Virginia Opera
House. He has choreographed for and performed on the daytime television shows As The World Turns
and All My Children as well as the nightly news show World News Now. He has also directed and
choreographed features for the acclaimed national tour of Swing Dance America and is a frequent guest
choreographer for the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. A writer and a poet, most recently he
was a playwright for the Six Figures Theater Company's Fairy Tale Festival. Anthony has written Still
Searching (a book of poetry and prose) and is currently writing his second book, both hopefully to be
released next year.Anthony is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association and the American
Federation of Television & Radio Artists. |
