 Corin Hollifield, Co-Artistic Director, Dancer
A native of Canada, Corin started his career as a competitive Figure Skater. His early
theatrical credits include dancing with Les Gigueurs de Calgary and as a soloist for
L'Ensemble Nationale de Folklore, Les Sortileges, Canada's National Folk Dance Company,
based in Montreal. He later moved to New York City where he attended the American
Musical
and Dramatic Academy. He has performed in such shows as Anything Goes!,
Hello, Dolly!, Funny Girl, Scrooge, Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story,and Equus,
in which he played the role of Alan. Corin also performed in the Canadian national tour of
The Charlottetown Festival's productions of Anne Of Green Gables. Corin
has toured
the world performing with the internationally acclaimed AllNations Dance Company,
which specializes in all forms of ethnic dance. The numerous theatres that call on his
talents
as an independant director and choreographer include the Surflight Theatre,
Shawnee Playhouse,
College Light Opera Company,and The Millbrook Playhouse.
As a director/choreographer, Corin
has created numerous productions, including
Evita, Lady Be Good, Anything
Goes!, Crazy For You, Into The Woods, The Scarlet
Pimpernel, Phantom and The Will Rogers Follies. Corin also dances with Pat Cannon's
Foot
and Fiddle Dance Company. |
