 Mela Woods ,Dancer
A native of Berkeley, CA, Mela recently moved to New York from the Bay Area, having worked with the excellent staff and dancers at Columbia College, Joel Hall, Muntu Dance Theatre, and Sundance in Chicago, as well as Kilimanjaro in Miami, and the Oberlin Dance Collective in San Francisco. Her first instruction was in jazz, then ballet, and then she fell in love with African Dance. She now finds great pleasure in forming choreography and free form at venues such as Barefoot Boogie, where the love of dance is shared by all! |
